As your Independent representative for Calwell, I will fight every day to deliver More Teachers, More Doctors, Better Roads and More For You.
My connection to Calwell runs back three generations. I was born here. I am raising my family here. I have lived here my entire life.
As a three-time Mayor of the City of Hume and community volunteer I have dedicated much of my life working to build a better future for our community.
I am standing to be your Independent representative for Calwell as more needs to be done to deliver what our community deserves.
We need More Teachers and Schools built to ease the burden on our overcrowded classrooms so we can provide our children with the education they deserve
We need More Doctors and a new Emergency Hospital for our community to ease the burden on our overwhelmed health system so all in Calwell have access to medical treatment when they need it most
We need More Roads and damaged roads repaired to ease the congestion so we can spend more time with those we love instead of hours in traffic jams.
We need More For You by implementing policies to ease the financial pressure us on all, by bringing the prices at the supermarket, petrol pump and the cost of energy down
Labor has failed us. We deserve More.
It is time for Independent community voices to be heard in our parliament and I will be that voice for You – always putting our communities interest first as We Deserve More!
As your representative for Calwell, I will demand more schools to be built and for more teachers to be deployed throughout our community.
As a Mum raising my family in our community, I have experienced the neglect and failure of both Labor and Liberal in our local schools.
With my children attending a school that had no math teacher for an entire term.
This lack of investment in our children’s future must come to an end.
Labor has failed us. We deserve More.
More schools to be built and more teachers to be deployed throughout our community.
So, our children to have the quality education they need. So, they can have the future they deserve.
As your representative for Calwell, I will demand more ‘Bulk Billing’ Doctors and campaign for a new Emergency Hospital in our community.
Every Australian deserves access to the highest quality of healthcare available.
All who live in Calwell know, after years of neglect by Labor and Liberal, that this is not the case for those of us in our community.
Labor has failed us. We deserve More.
Every person living in Calwell should be able to find a ‘Bulk Billing’ Doctor when they need one, without having to spend hours at the Northern Hospital.
As your Independent representative I will demand increased ‘Bulk Billing’, more Doctors and campaign for a new Emergency Hospital in our community.
Ensuring that when we need medical care – everyone in our community will have access to a Doctor when they need one.
As your representative for Calwell, I will fight for major investment in our roads, repairing damaged roads and delivering major road upgrades.
As the population of our community has expanded, what has not kept pace with this expansion has been investment in our roads.
Single lane roads in desperate need of duplication are filled with traffic, whilst others are riddled with damaged surfaces, making them unsafe and dangerous to drive on.
This neglect by Labor and Liberal has left people stuck in traffic instead of being able to spend time with family and friends.
Labor has failed us. We deserve More.
As your Independent representative I will demand investment in our local roads, including upgrades to Somerton Road, Mickleham Road and the Hume Highway.
Helping our community to get to work and home more quickly – creating less stress and helping us to spend more time with those we love.
As your Independent representative for Calwell, I will demand effective policies that reduce the cost of essential items such as fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and energy.
As a mother of four I feel the same financial pain of every family throughout Calwell.
Whether that is at the supermarket, petrol pump, through mortgage repayments or the rising cost of energy.
As an Accountant, I understand the value of money and will hold government to account to put an end to waste and to give back to the people to ease pressure on families.
It is not right that it is now cheaper for families to purchase fast food like McDonalds for dinner, than it is to prepare a healthy and balanced meal.
Or that families and pensioners are freezing through winter or sweating through summer because they cannot afford to switch on their heating and cooling.
Labor has failed us. We deserve More.
I will demand initiatives be implemented that reduces the cost of all essential items so that families, pensioners and young people can shop healthy, turn on the lights and heat and cool their homes without breaking the bank.
